Growing up in Libya offered me a unique lens through which to view the world—an environment rich in multiculturalism, multinationals, and multilingualism. This early exposure laid the groundwork for my insatiable curiosity and my lifelong mission to blend the best of different worlds.

My professional journey has been equally expansive, spanning continents and industries. With over two decades in the corporate realm, I’ve accumulated a wealth of experience and insights. Currently, I serve as the Head of Consumer Deposit Technology at Toronto Dominion Bank in the US, where I harness my global perspective to drive innovation and foster inclusive environments. Beyond my corporate role, I wear many hats:

Recognizing the challenges faced by working mothers firsthand, I’ve become a staunch advocate for women’s rights, particularly in the workplace. In my capacity as the Executive Lead for Women at TD US, I have the privilege of guiding and empowering thousands of women, championing policy changes that support their professional and personal growth.

The journey into motherhood nearly a decade ago presented me with the quintessential dilemma—career or family? While acknowledging the immense value of stay-at-home mothers, I chose to pursue my career path, fueled by a belief that women can indeed have what they want, even if it means navigating a complex balancing act. Since embracing motherhood, I’ve experienced exponential growth in my career, garnering three promotions and tripling my pay and benefits along the way.

As a thought leader and speaker, I strive to share my knowledge and insights on topics ranging from machine learning to leadership development. Central to my philosophy is the idea that while we may not be able to have it all, we can certainly have what truly matters to us.
